BEWARE!! There are many 'rescues' that are nothing more than glorified puppy brokers!

Be sure that ANY animal you adopt is fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, and all necessary shots and tests. Reputable rescues include all this, and more!  You don't want to fall victim to 'puppies for profit' from a non-legitimate rescue!

Taylor Mae

Picture
Taylor is 4 years old.  Taylor was adopted out over 3 years ago, but owners need to find her a new home as they are moving and can not take her with them. She is an outgoing, happy girl.  She loves everyone.  All she wants is love and a chance to run and play.  She does have lots of energy and would love to have a family who likes to do activities with their 4-legged family member.  She walks great on leash and knows basic commands.  In typical Malamute fashion, Taylor will howl at sirens or when she gets real excited. Taylor is looking for a home with no other animals and no younger children. Taylor prefers to have all the attention. Only serious inquires at this time.

Malamutes are not for everyone.  They do need a person to be a firm leader.  They need an outlet for their energy and consistent rules.  Malamutes and Huskies are known for bolting out the door and just running, often never finding their way back home again.  That is NOT Taylor.  Taylor is good at 'wait' when the door is opened. She did manage to lift the latch and get out of the dog run once.  She just ran over to the neighbor and was visiting there.  She just loves people too much to run past someone.Taylor is currently at Castaway Pet Rescue in Crystal Lake, IL

Tulsa

Picture
Hi, I'm Tulsa, a shy yet charming 9 year old canine searching for a patient owner with a relaxed lifestyle. I'm looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweetly and kindly and I will blossom. I'm a big boy, but I never pull on my leash, that's just rude. You can try me with kids of all ages, I get along with most other dogs and as far as cats, it is unknown - we would need to be introduced slowly. Stop in and visit with me, I'll be waiting for you!
Tulsa is currently at the Elmbrook Humane Society in Brookfield, WI. To see Tulsa's page and for more information please contact here:  http://www.ebhs.org/dogs.htm
