Our Dogs Currently Available for Adoption

Chuck - February 2011

Picture
Poor Chuck was a neglect case. He has come a long way, with the help of some very wonderful friends, but still has a ways to go. He needs an adult home (no children!!!) with substantial malamute experience that can take this handsome diamond in the rough, and help him become the good boy he is meant to be. He is very sweet, but needs time and training. And he is a BIG fellow - walking him is like walking a very strong pony! He is a young fellow, not yet 2, with his whole life ahead of him, just waiting for the perfect person to come along and adopt him!

Chuck has a neuter sponsor! In loving memory of Otto & Zelda, from Gina.

Chuck has a monthly sponsor! Thanks to our friend Gina, in loving memory of Otto & Zelda.

Chuck has a microchip sponsor! With love from Dane, Julie, Sable, and Timber

Daisy - January 2012

Picture
Daisy is a chubby older girl (about 7) that was out of time at a downstate shelter - the shelter worked very hard to get her safely to us! She loves women and children, but is fearful of men. She gets along well with some other dogs, but in typical malamute fashion, can be choosy about her canine companions sometimes.

Daisy has a monthly sponsor thanks to Kay and Kimmie!

Daisy has a foster home thanks to Serena and Buck and family!

Corona - April 2012

Picture
This big handsome 4 year old male was out of time in a Wisconsin shelter. He is good with people, but does not like any other dogs, so this fellow is seeking an adult, malamute experienced home where he can be the only canine.

Corona has a neuter sponsor. In loving memory of Kodi from your friends Felicia & Odie.

Corona has a sponsor!!!  Our thanks to Scott Tourtillott!

Corona has a microchip sponsor. In loving memory of Kodi from your friends Felicia & Odie.

CORONA NEEDS A FOSTER HOME!

Pandi - September 2012

Picture
Pandi is about 8 years old. He came from Missouri where his time was up in the shelter. Pandi is a real gem, good with kids and other dogs. Despite his age, he needs an active lifestyle and does not like to be left alone. He loves his voice, so he'll let you know when he hasn't had his fill of exercise and attention, but he does mellow out after he's had enough.

Pandi has a monthly sponsor!  From Katie and Sasha the wonder Malamute!

Pandi has a neuter sponsor. In loving memory of Holly’s Charlie, with love from IAMRA alums Callie and Zorro

Pandi has a microchip sponsor!  From Kelly, with love to all the homeless pups out there hoping they find homes.

Pandi has a foster home. Thanks PJ!

Sakari - November 2012

Picture
Sakari is about 2 years old and needs to learn some manners but she is very happy to be around people and is a real joy to watch running and playing. Sakari has shown herself to be rather choosey in her dog companions, so most likely would do best as an only dog.

Sakari has a monthly sponsor. In loving memory of Otto & Zelda, from Tony and Laura

Sakari had a microchip sponsor. Many thanks to Gloria G!

SAKARI NEEDS A FOSTER HOME!

Bijou - February 2013

Picture
Meet Bijou! She was found as a stray, and no owners came forward for her. The wonderful folks at South Suburban Humane made sure she got safely into our care.  Bijou is about 5 years old, and is a very sweet girl - and very pretty too - but she is Heart Worm Positive.  More as we get to know her and she gets her treatment - can you help us with her treatment costs please?

Bijou has a monthly sponsor from the IAMRA alums Zoe & Racer  and their humans Karen &  Wayne

Bijou has a microchip sponsor - in memory of Buddy, an IAMRA alum - Shea Corrigan

Thanks to the ALASKAN MALAMUTE CLUB OF WISCONSIN www.amcw.org  for helping with Bijou’s heartworm treatment!!!

BIJOU HAS A FOSTER HOME! Thank you to the Fenske Family

35 Suzie Q - March 2013

Picture
Suzie is a 4 year old female from the Montana bust. She is a sweet and pretty girl, with a lot of energy. She warms up quickly to people and loves attention, but is a bit picky with her canine friends. Suzie will require a yard with a secure, 6 foot fence.

Suzie Q has a monthly sponsor thanks to IAMRA alum Ripley aka Snoopy and family!

Suzie Q is in a foster home. Thanks Cynthia!

107 Wyonna - March 2013

Picture
Wyonna is a 2 year old female from the Montana bust. Wyonna is still very young, and unfortunately has spent most of her life in boarding, so she is a little unsure of being handled. She warms up quickly with other dogs. She's also quite playful and animated when given toys and an open yard. However, she will need a patient, loving hand to help her trust people. Wyonna will require a yard with a secure, 6 foot fence.

Look how far Wyonna has come with the help from her foster!
