Adoption Application
IAMRA does not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.  Although we rarely adopt to persons under 25, these applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  We do not adopt to homes who have electronic fences as the only form of containment. Since malamutes do best with opposite gender when it comes to other dogs, the vast majority of our adoptions will be opposite gender.
IAMRA responds to all inquiries about our dogs, giving up your dog, or information in general via e-mail. Please make sure to check you spam folder if you haven't heard from us within 2 - 3 days.

Nova - September 2020

Picture
Nova is a 6 year old red and white malamute that came in with Sequoia and Luna.  Sequoia seems particularly bonded to her.  While these three do very well with each other, they have displayed some dislike toward other dogs of both sexes, especially when they are together a pack.  Nova is a very tall girl and presents herself as the reserved lady of the the three, putting up with their shenanigans and maintaining her dignity.  Her clown comes out every so often.

Sequoia - September 2020

Picture
Sequoia is a 4 year old red and white malamute who is almost, but not quite as tall as Nova.  Sequoia is the outgoing social butterfly and voice of the three and definitely has a goofy side.

Moose - October 2020

Picture
Moose is a 7 month old red and white girl that came to us due to behavioral issues in her previous home.  Moose will need someone who is relatively experienced with malamutes, and would be willing to participate in ongoing training and socialization.

Fable - November 2021 - Adoption Pending!!

Picture
Fable is a beautiful 4 year old malamute boy, he has all his training basics covered and walks very well on a leash.  He is extremely loving with his human caretakers and just wants someone to call his own!  Fable chooses his dog friends wisely, he has many girlfriends but can be picky with other males.  He is neutered and all up to date on his vaccines and medical records.  He would do great in an active home by himself or with another female dog.

Daisy - October 2022 - Adoption Pending!!

Picture
Daisy is half malamute, half husky and all sassy sweetness.  This two year old girl is great with other dogs.  She can be a little shy at first with new people, but once she knows you she’ll be your BFF.  Crate trained and awesome on leash, she’s a wonderful girl.  She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.  Fine with older kids and cats, she would do best in an active home.

Valentina - September 2023

Picture
Valentina "Val" - Grey and white - a kind soul who loves her snuggles and returns the love with kisses.  She melts for pets and rolls over for as many belly rubs as she can get.  Doesn't quite know how large she is, and is learning manners and basic commands well.  She has plenty of stories she loves to share "wooooooo".  Val and Messi were dumped by their owner, and then relinquished the dogs when contacted. Our thanks to good Samaritan Bailey for making sure they got to rescue safely.

Unfortunately, Val is HW positive (medical hold).

Messi - September 2023

Picture
Messi - Light Brown with white - Val's pup, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.  He's a goodest boy, he loves his mama and he's also learning fast.  He appears to be half-Mal half-Husky, has one light green and one sky-blue eye and a husky build.  He's full of spirit in a good way.  For an 11 month old he's very well under control, but certainly still has that young pup spirit.  Val and Messi were dumped by their owner, and then relinquished the dogs when contacted. Our thanks to good Samaritan Bailey for making sure they got to rescue safely.

Elara - July 2023

Picture
Elara (fka Luna) is an adorable little 15 week old girl in need of a new home! She was thankfully taken from a bad situation and brought to rescue by good Samaritans. She is a bright, happy little girl, that will be ready for
a new home once her vetting is complete. If you are interested in Elara, you will be asked to submit a puppy plan after receipt of your application.
